Bronc riding has been a "secret" ambition of mine since I was a kid in boots. My great grandpa ran a local rodeo when my dad was young, and I grew up hearing Dad's stories and idolizing the old cowboys and cowgirls. I turned to the jumping world because it was available to me as a girl in Michigan. If the WRBC had been around for me to find when I was young, my life would be a heck of a lot different now! Instead, you guys took me under your wing and provided me and all of the other cowgirls a safe space to learn and fall in love with this style of horsemanship. The way Allysa Spierings spoke about the sport and described the partnership between cowgirl and bronc gave me goosebumps. You couldn't have found a better instructor. The stock gave me confidence while also showing me my weaknesses. I have a lot of homework and can't wait to get back to it! You guys have given me a leg to stand on in the bronc riding world, and I will be forever grateful. I can't wait to ride with all of you ladies again - and I will be so excited to learn from Daryl and Alyssa in the future!
